ποΈ First, Arkipel
Arkipel builds products that get people moving outside. Relive turns your ride, run or hike into a video you actually want to share. JOIN is a training coach for cyclists. REN does the same for runners. Kunu helps golfers understand their swing and fix it faster. Together they reach millions of people around the world who ride, run, hike and play.
We are a team of ~35 people across 18 nationalities. Small teams, big products, no layers of management between an idea and the people it reaches. We build things we are genuinely proud of, and we move fast because we can.
We believe the product is only half of what makes a brand win. Anyone can attempt to copy a training algorithm. Almost no one can copy the storytelling, the content and the community around it. It is what sets our brands apart, and we are doubling down on it.
That is where you come in.
π¬ Arkipel Studio: in at the very start
The best growth results come from people who actually know the product and the audience. An in-house performance marketer who understands why a JOIN cyclist behaves differently from a REN runner will always spend media budget smarter than someone running the same playbook across all campaigns.
So we are building Arkipel Studio: a small, sharp media team at the heart of the company, creating content and running campaigns for all Arkipel brands. You will be one of its first hires. That means real influence on how the studio works, what it makes and what it feels like. You will not inherit a playbook; you will help write it.
The studio starts with three people. We are hiring a performance marketer (paid social, Google, Apple Search Ads) and two content creators in parallel. As the studio proves itself, more roles will land here, from creative to commercial. Embedded marketers in the product teams keep handling lifecycle, partnerships and podcasts; the studio owns content and paid media across the portfolio. You will work closely with Jim, who leads the studio.
π‘ What you'll actually do
- Run and optimize paid delivery on Meta, Google and Apple Search Ads. This is the core of the role: budgets, bids, audiences, creative testing, and the daily calls that keep it performing.
- Take ownership of a working setup. Google and Apple Search Ads are already live and performing. You keep them sharp and scale them, you don't start from a blank page.
- Own the numbers. You track spend, CAC and ROAS across brands, spot what's working and what's leaking budget, and you report on it so the rest of the company can see how paid is doing.
- Turn performance into decisions. Feed what you learn back into creative, targeting and budget splits."
π Who thrives in this role
- You have run paid app campaigns and managed Apple Search Ads, not only web or lead-gen.App marketing has its own quirks: attribution, App Store optimisation, iOS privacy rules. We want someone who's already dealt with that.
- You're comfortable working alongside AI tooling for the day-to-day performance. An AI agent can pull reporting, monitor pacing and anomalies, and test ad variants - freeing you to spend your time on strategy, judgment and creative direction, not the grind.
- You can hold multiple brands in your head at once. You'll be covering Relive, JOIN, REN and Kunu, so you need to switch context fast without losing the thread.
- You're a native Dutch speaker with excellent English and based in or around Amsterdam
π Who probably won't
- Someone who wants to rebuild everything from scratch.
- Someone who needs one clearly-scoped product to focus on.
