JOB PROFILE
Mission / Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Webshop Manager to oversee and grow our online sales platform for Filling Pieces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce/webshop management, a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, and a proven ability to drive online revenue. You will be responsible for supporting in creating and executing a comprehensive ecommerce strategy that aligns with the company’s international growth objectives and enhances the customer shopping experience.
The goal is to lead the strategic and operational management of all online sales channels to drive growth, enhance customer experience, and increase profitability. You will work closely with our internal digital marketing team and with external agencies to ensure optimal performance of the ecommerce platform, digital marketing efforts, and overall online conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the E-commerce intern and work closely with our Performance Marketeer, ensuring that all team members work effectively towards shared goals.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage a high-performance culture within the team.
- Oversee and coordinate with external performance marketing, development, and customer support agencies to ensure smooth operations, campaign execution, and exceptional customer service.
- Lead the selection and onboarding of new technology and tools to enhance ecommerce capabilities.
Ecommerce Strategy Development
- Support our Marketing & Ecommerce Manager in developing, executing, and optimizing a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aimed at driving online revenue growth and improving customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Online Sales Performance
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLV), ensuring that performance goals are met or exceeded.
- Continuously analyze sales data and website analytics to identify opportunities for optimization.
Digital Marketing Integration
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team and external performance marketing agency to plan and execute omnichannel campaigns (email, social media, PPC, SEO) that support online sales growth and customer acquisition.
- Ensure marketing strategies are effectively integrated across all online platforms for a consistent brand message and customer experience.
Website Optimization & UX Management
- Oversee website functionality, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience (UX) that improves conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
- Lead efforts for continuous improvement of website features, including navigation, search, checkout, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with internal team members, external developers, and agencies to manage and implement website enhancements.
Customer Data & Analytics
- Leverage customer data and insights to personalize the online shopping experience and target key customer segments.
- Use analytics tools to monitor customer behavior, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve customer journey and overall satisfaction.
Inventory & Product Management
- Work closely with merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure accurate product listings, stock availability, and on-time delivery of orders.
- Ensure the ecommerce platform is updated with current product information, pricing, and promotional materials.
Budget Management & ROI Tracking
- Together with the Marketing & Ecommerce manager you will manage the ecommerce budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Track and analyze the ROI of all digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and platform investments.
- Provide regular reporting on ecommerce performance, presenting key insights and recommendations for growth.
Competitor & Market Analysis
- Monitor competitive ecommerce platforms and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Propose strategic initiatives that keep the company ahead in the digital space.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience managing ecommerce platforms, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving customer engagement.
- Experience in leading and managing a direct report, including internal team members and external agencies.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (Shopify), website analytics, and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO, SEM).
- Experience managing relationships with external vendors and agencies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficient in A/B testing, conversion optimization, and UX best practices.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams to achieve shared goals.
